Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 20, 2026

Welcome to OSCNrecords.com.

This website is run by me, Muhammad Zarrar. I take your privacy seriously — and this page explains, in plain words, what happens when you visit my site.

I keep things simple. No tricks. No long legal language.

Who I Am

I am a Public Records Researcher. I write guides about OSCN and U.S. court database systems to help people understand court searches in simple language.

This website (OSCNrecords.com) is for informational purposes only. It is not connected to the official OSCN.net website.

What Information I Collect

Honestly, I do not collect much.

When you visit my site, a few standard things happen automatically — same as any other website:

  • Your browser type
  • The device you used
  • The pages you opened
  • How long you stayed
  • The country or city you connected from (approximate)

This is basic traffic data. I cannot see your name, your address, or your personal life from it.

If you leave a comment, I will see:

  • The name you typed
  • The email you typed
  • Your IP address (saved by WordPress)
  • Whatever message you wrote

That is all.

I do not ask for your phone number. I do not ask for your ID. I do not ask for your case details. Please do not share personal court information in the comments — it stays public.

Why I Collect It

The little bit of data I see is used for:

  • Understanding which guides are helpful
  • Fixing broken pages
  • Replying to your comments
  • Keeping the website safe from spam and bots

That is it. I am not selling anything. I am not building a list. I am not chasing you with ads.

Cookies

My website uses small files called cookies — the kind almost every website uses.

They remember things like:

  • If you already visited
  • Your comment name and email (so you don’t type it again)
  • Basic site settings

You can turn off cookies in your browser any time. The site will still work fine.

Third-Party Tools

I use a few normal tools that most websites use:

  • Google Analytics — to see how many people visit my guides
  • WordPress — the platform my site runs on
  • Hosting provider — keeps the website online

These tools may collect basic visit data on their own side. They have their own privacy policies. I have no control over them.

I do not run ads on this website right now. If I ever do, I will update this page first.

What I Do NOT Do

Let me be clear about a few things:

  • I do not sell your data
  • I do not share your email with anyone
  • I do not send marketing emails
  • I do not track you across other websites
  • I do not store credit card or payment information

This is a small, honest, informational website. Not a business that needs your data.

Children

This website is meant for adults — people researching court cases. It is not designed for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not send me any personal information.

Your Rights

You can ask me to:

  • Show you what comment or info I have about you
  • Delete your comment from the site
  • Correct any wrong information

Just send me an email. I will reply within a reasonable time.

Security

I do my best to keep this website safe. But I am one person, not a giant company. No website on the internet is 100% safe. By using my site, you understand that.

Changes to This Policy

If I change anything on this page, I will update the date at the top. Please check it once in a while.
